These Terms of Use set forth the conditions for using Me-P (the "Service") provided by MetaGRIT CO., LTD. ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, a user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 1. Application of These Terms
These Terms apply to all relationships between us and users regarding use of the Service.
Guidelines, privacy policies, individual terms, and other rules separately established by us in connection with the Service form a part of these Terms.
If a user uses the Service, the user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 2. Description of the Service
The Service is a self-understanding support service that provides information about personality tendencies, behavioral tendencies, human relationships, compatibility, fortune, future trends, and similar topics by using multiple analysis methods and AI technologies.
The Service is intended for entertainment, self-understanding, and reference purposes. It does not guarantee any specific result in relation to medical care, law, finance, investment, employment, marriage, divorce, or any other important decision.
Analysis results, fortune-telling results, compatibility results, future predictions, advice, and other information provided through the Service are reference information only. Users shall use them at their own judgment and responsibility.
Article 3. No Medical, Psychological, or Professional Advice
The Service does not provide medical treatment, psychotherapy, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, or other professional advice.
If a user experiences mental or physical distress, the user should consult a doctor, specialist institution, counseling service, or other appropriate professional.
Displays and notifications in the Service do not substitute for emergency response, crisis intervention, or medical assistance.
Article 4. Registration
Users may use the Service by registering the required information using the method designated by us.
Users shall provide accurate and up-to-date registration information.
If registration information changes, the user shall promptly complete the change procedures.
Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not responsible for damages suffered by a user due to incomplete, false, or outdated registration information.
Article 5. Use by Minors
If a minor uses the Service, the minor must obtain consent from a parent or other legal representative.
If a minor uses the Service, we may deem that the required consent from the legal representative has been obtained.
If we determine that age verification or confirmation of legal representative consent is necessary, we may request such confirmation from the user.
Article 6. Account Management
Users shall manage their account information at their own responsibility.
Users must not lend, transfer, sell, or share accounts with any third party.
Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not responsible for damages arising from inadequate account management, third-party use, or unauthorized use.
Article 7. Paid Services and Subscriptions
Users may purchase or use paid features, digital content, subscriptions, and similar offerings provided within the Service.
The details, price, payment method, usage period, and other conditions of paid services will be displayed on the purchase screen or within the Service.
If a purchase is made through the App Store or Google Play, payment, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and other conditions are governed by the terms and policies of the applicable platform.
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless the user cancels them.
Users shall cancel subscriptions through the applicable platform or by another method separately designated by us.
Unless otherwise required by law or the rules of the applicable platform, fees already paid are non-refundable.
At present, the main paid plan is the Premium Plan at JPY 300 per month (tax included), with the first 3 months free and automatic billing beginning in month 4 unless the user cancels before renewal. However, the latest display on the purchase screen, App Store, Google Play, or our landing page takes precedence for actual sales terms, displayed pricing, free-trial conditions, renewal conditions, and cancellation conditions.
Article 8. Free Trial
We may offer a free trial at our discretion.
If the user does not cancel before the free trial period ends, the subscription may automatically convert to a paid plan.
The conditions, period, and eligibility of the free trial are determined by us at our discretion.
Article 9. Price Changes
We may change the fees for paid services.
If subscription pricing changes, we or the applicable platform will notify users in advance.
If a user continues to use the Service after a price change takes effect, the user is deemed to have agreed to the new pricing.
Article 10. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights relating to the Service, including programs, designs, images, texts, analysis logic, databases, trademarks, and logos, belong to us or to the rightful holders.
Users must not reproduce, republish, modify, sell, or make secondary use of the Service content without our prior approval.
Permission to use the Service does not mean any transfer or license of intellectual property rights owned by us or by third parties.
Article 11. User Posts
Users may post content such as posts, comments, images, and profile information in Me-P Vibe and other parts of the Service.
Before creating or uploading posts or other UGC, users shall agree to and comply with these Terms, our community guidelines, and any other policies separately established by us.
Users bear full responsibility for the information they post.
Users grant us permission to use posted information without charge for the provision, operation, improvement, advertising, promotion, display, storage, analysis, and moderation of the Service.
The permission in the preceding paragraph includes displaying, reproducing, editing, translating, summarizing, and changing the format of posted information inside or outside the Service.
Users represent and warrant that they have lawful rights to the posted information and that such information does not infringe any rights of third parties.
Article 12. Use of Me-P Vibe
Me-P Vibe is a community feature where users can interact through posts, comments, likes, reposts, follows, and similar actions.
Me-P Vibe does not provide a direct message feature.
As a general rule, Me-P Vibe does not provide AI bot posting or automated conversation features.
Interactions between users are subject to these Terms and to any separate community guidelines established by us.
Users may use the in-app reporting, blocking, muting, and other safety features designated by us. We will review reports and respond as reasonably appropriate depending on the nature of the report.
Article 13. Compatibility Display and Analysis
The Service may display compatibility scores or compatibility analysis results between users.
Compatibility scores and compatibility analysis results are reference information based on our own analysis logic and do not guarantee any result in relation to human relationships, romance, marriage, dating, or similar matters.
Compatibility scores may differ depending on the viewer.
Detailed compatibility analysis may be displayed when mutual following or other conditions designated by us are satisfied.
Article 14. Private Mode
Users may set the visibility scope of their profiles or posts within the range designated by us.
Even when private mode is used, we may review posts or usage status to the extent necessary for system operation, legal compliance, safety management, or moderation.
Private mode does not guarantee complete anonymity or complete non-disclosure.
Article 15. External Links
Users may be allowed to post URLs within the Service.
When a user moves to an external site, a confirmation screen or warning may be displayed.
We make no guarantee regarding the content, safety, accuracy, legality, or reliability of external sites.
Users use external sites at their own responsibility.
Article 16. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not engage in the following acts:
- Violating laws or public order and morals
- Criminal acts or acts that encourage crime
- Infringing the rights, interests, honor, credit, or privacy of us, other users, or third parties
- Defamation, insults, harassment, threats, or excessively negative expressions
- Discriminatory, aggressive, violent, or cruel expressions
- Sexual content, obscene expressions, sexual jokes, sexual solicitation, or posting sexual images
- Posts for dating, recruiting romantic partners, seeking sexual relations, recruiting offline meetups, or other interaction purposes that we consider inappropriate
- Exchanging or soliciting LINE, Instagram, Discord, email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact information
- Solicitation relating to side jobs, investments, religion, MLM, multi-level marketing, affiliate programs, or other sales or recruitment activities
- Encouraging or glorifying self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, drug abuse, or other dangerous acts
- Impersonating another person
- Posting false information or misleading information
- Using AI features to generate, post, or distribute false or misleading health-related information, content that encourages dangerous conduct, abusive content targeting others, or any content that violates these Terms or applicable law
- Spam, automated posting, unauthorized access, scraping, or reverse engineering
- Interfering with the operation of the Service
- Any other conduct we consider inappropriate
Article 17. Responses to Self-Harm and Suicide-Related Expressions
If we detect expressions such as "I want to die," "I want to disappear," "I want to kill myself," or other expressions suggesting self-harm or suicide, we may take measures we deem necessary, including displaying warnings, providing information about counseling resources, restricting posts, deleting posts, or restricting accounts.
If we determine it necessary to protect a user's life, body, or safety, we may, in accordance with applicable law, consult with or report to relevant institutions or take other necessary measures.
The measures described above do not mean that we guarantee a user's safety.
Article 18. Post Monitoring and Moderation
To maintain a safe usage environment, we may monitor, review, and analyze posts, profiles, comments, URLs, and other information using AI systems and human operators.
If we determine that a post violates these Terms or is likely to do so, we may take necessary measures without prior notice to the user, including deleting posts, limiting visibility, restricting posting, restricting functions, or suspending accounts.
We are not obligated to disclose the reason for deletion or restriction of content.
We are not obligated to monitor or delete all content.
Article 19. Account Suspension and Usage Restrictions
If a user violates these Terms or if we otherwise determine it necessary, we may take necessary measures without prior notice, including account suspension, usage restrictions, posting restrictions, or suspension of paid features.
In particular, defamatory conduct, dating-oriented use, sexual content, contact exchange, encouragement of self-harm or suicide, spam, and malicious solicitation may result in account suspension without prior warning.
Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not responsible for damages suffered by a user due to usage restrictions or account suspension.
Article 20. Personal Information
We handle users' personal information appropriately in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We use personal information to the extent necessary for service provision, analysis, identity verification, billing, notifications, ad delivery, service improvement, safety management, and responses to violations.
If a user posts or enters content that may constitute sensitive content or special-care-required personal information, the user agrees that we may handle such information for service provision, safety management, and moderation.
We do not provide personal information to third parties without user consent except where required by law, where necessary to protect life, body, or property, or where otherwise permitted by law.
Article 21. Notices
We may provide notices to users by email, in-app notices, push notifications, displays within the Service, or other methods we deem appropriate.
Users agree to receive notices necessary for operation of the Service.
Marketing notifications may be stopped in accordance with applicable law and the methods designated by us.

Article 23. Changes, Suspension, and Termination of the Service
We may change, add to, suspend, interrupt, or terminate all or part of the Service as necessary.
Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not responsible for damages suffered by users as a result of the preceding paragraph.
Article 24. Disclaimer
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency, usefulness, fitness for a particular purpose, future results, or non-infringement of third-party rights with respect to the Service or information provided through the Service.
We are not responsible for users' judgments or actions based on analysis results, fortune-telling results, compatibility results, future predictions, advice, or other information provided through the Service.
We are not responsible for disputes between users or between users and third parties.
We are not responsible when the Service cannot be used due to communication failures, system failures, failures of external services, maintenance, or force majeure events.
If we are liable to a user for damages, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, the maximum amount of such liability is limited to the total amount of fees paid by that user to us during the past 12 months.
Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, if our liability cannot be excluded or limited under the Consumer Contract Act or other applicable law, we bear liability to the extent required by such law.
Article 25. Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces
Users represent and warrant that they are not members of anti-social forces.
Users must not provide benefits to anti-social forces or use anti-social forces.
If a user violates this Article, we may take necessary measures such as suspension of use or termination without prior notice.
Article 26. Prohibition on Assignment of Rights and Obligations
Users must not assign, transfer, create security interests in, or otherwise dispose of their status under these Terms or their rights or obligations under these Terms to any third party without our prior written consent.
Article 27. Changes to These Terms
We may change these Terms in accordance with the Civil Code and other applicable laws.
If we change these Terms, we will notify users of the details of the changes and the effective date through in-service display, email, or another appropriate method.
If a user continues to use the Service after the effective date, the user is deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
Article 28. Severability
If any part of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
Article 29. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
If a dispute arises between us and a user in connection with the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
Supplementary Provision
These Terms take effect on June 12, 2026.
